NSK spherical outer ring bearings feature an outer ring with a spherical outer diameter that mates with the concave spherical bore of the bearing housing, providing self-aligning capability. This design is suitable for rigid shafts with significant deflection. Equipped with seals on both faces, these bearings effectively prevent contamination ingress. They are factory-filled with an appropriate quantity of lubricant and require no cleaning prior to installation. No additional lubrication is required within the permissible lubrication interval. When the set screw on the protruding end of the bearing inner ring is securely fastened to the shaft, the permissible axial load shall not exceed 20% of the rated dynamic load.
